It is PLEDGE WEEK! Want to know how to bring in lots of money? Just ask Todd Grundhoefer, He says “I just ask everyone… the worst they can say is no, and how many times they say sure the food shelf is a good cause”.
The weather has been ordered and it looks like a typical Minnesota snowy and cold forecast. Ice Bowlers are no WIMPS OR WHINERS. Good Luck this week! Everything is ready, Rick

Hey Disc Golfers, Bad News "No Matching Grant this year". So moneys will not double. I will let you know as soon as possible as to who checks can be made out to. I will be in touch with the Community Foundation on Monday and will be checking out some other possibilities for matching funds.
On a brighter note Bill Ness woodcarver extraordinaire has been hard at it. He already has 7 hiking sticks carved with some great faces for those who raise $250 and more.
Nov. 14th --2008
Hey Disc Golfers can you believe it is time again to be thinking of the St Cloud Ice Bowl once again. First of all I would personally like to thank each and every person who has either made a donation of money or gifts, collected moneys for the food shelf or helped staff the Ice Bowl event. This event is a combination of so many wonderful people helping out for a great cause. So Thank You! I would however like to give a special thanks to Adam Gorres who led the 2008 Ice Bowl Event. He committed himself to this event over a year before the Ice Bowl was held. He has always been a person you can count on for help in the disc golf community. So thank you Adam Gorres.
Rick Rentz Tournament director
world champions
Once again the St Cloud Ice Bowl raised the most money of ALL other Ice Bowl events in the world, setting the record for funds raised at $21,200 in 2008! Since 1993 the St Cloud Disc Golf Club has raised $76,852. This money goes a long way to help out those less fortunate in our community. It is one of the most anticipated and best attended Disc Golf events of the year in Minnesota when the winter weather is often at its worst.
